Observatories

We are very proud to work in partnership with Outsideology Ltd, assisting in building the UK's finest observatories. Through our partnership, all of your requirements are met and then exceeded.

Each observatory is individually designed by Neil Phillipson from Outsideology LTD, then lovingly crafted in our Knot Only Wood workshop before being installed in its chosen location.

The observatories story started in 2010, when Neil (then the owner of a telescope shop) was approached by a customer in Edinburgh to recommend a good-quality, roll-off-roof observatory for the new equipment he was to purchase.  At the time, Neil found there simply wasn’t a supplier that provided custom-designed observatories. Nor was there anything on the market that met his customer’s needs.  Neil set about designing what would become Outsideology's first observatory.
